Design work begins on Intergenerational Centre ....
London Borough of Merton
Initial consultation and design work is proceeding well on our exciting new project for the UK's first Intergenerational Centre in Merton, London. The centre will offer facilities and training for young and old. Its range of programmes is aimed at breaking down barriers between different groups in the community. The explicit intention is to work across generations to increase mutual understanding and social cohesion, and to develop a greater sense of community spirit and reduce crime. The anticipated completion date is September 2009.

Fitzjohn's Primary School in Camden, London, has won a British Council for School Environments award for 2008. The project has been named best refurbishment/remodelling of a primary or secondary school.
CDA Services
Our team, led by Sarah Curl, is continuing to assist London Borough of Barking & Dagenham in their waves 4-6 Building Schools for the Future Programme. As Client Design Advisor, Sarah has carried out Option Appraisal across the school estate with detailed proposals for three sample schemes.

On 29th November 2007, a meeting with the Prime Minister gave our year out student Angeletia Padmore an opportunity to speak about her current sustainability work and future goals. Angeletia met the PM through the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust, of which she is a bursary student.
